On Saturday May 6th, 2016, Jason, Gabe, and Ollie went to LeGiT. They met Grant and Dianne who were already up there. Grant said that he went for the first swim in Lake LeGiT on Friday night. It was 80 degrees on Friday so the weather was perfect for a swim. He confirmed that the beach area has a very steep drop off 6-8 feet out. One of the reasons Jason and the boys went up was so that Jason could do some repairs to his ATV. A few bolts from ACE and he was back up and running! Both Gabe and Ollie were very interested in going fishing. First they tried out the river, but the current was just too strong to make fishing enjoyable. Then they tried fishing Lake LeGiT. This was much more to the speed of the boys. The line wasn’t in for more than a minute before something snapped on. Nothing was a keeper, but it was great fun. Oliver caught his first fish fully on his own today. It was a small bass that he showed off before tossing back into the lake.
