What an amazing weekend at Camp LeGiT!
April 29, 2016
We came up to LeGiT celebrated Gabe’s birthday. On Friday night Gabe, Dom, and Al stayed up late playing magic and stayed overnight in Gabe’s new tent. Oliver didn’t join us his time (he stayed the weekend with the Smiths). Greg, Mandy, Marcia, and Jason went out into the woods to hunt for mushrooms. Their target was Morels, but their first foray didn’t yield any edible mushrooms.

On Saturday Grant, Dianne, Greg, Mandy, and Marcia went to Mauston and found a really great place to eat called Dairy Island. Early Saturday afternoon most of the crew spent time venturing around the property, looking again for mushrooms, mapping out trails, and generally learning about the property. Later Saturday afternoon it started to get pretty wet with rain so the whole family went into town and ate at the family diner. The food and service was phenomenal.

Early Sunday everyone took the opportunity to ride ATVs before the Gintz’ had to leave. A little later Jason and Gabe had fun shooting the 22. Gabe was really starting to get his shot down. They also ventured into the woods looking for squirrels and rabbits and while they didn’t find any, they did manage to find some pheasant back mushrooms (which Jason wrote about on his blog). Later in the day Molly, Rosa, Ivy, Elliott and Duane visited camp legit for their first time. We think they loved it as much as we do.
